The students at Horace Mann Middle School learned about the James Webb Space Telescope by researching information on the internet. Working in small groups, the students gathered information and produced projects to show what they had learned. Students wrote poems, painted murals, built models, composed songs and created galaxies. Two students designed and wrote a puppet show about the James Webb Space Telescope.

Educator testimonial

We had a lot of fun, and I think the students gained a new appreciation for the space program and for space studies in general.
