Student testimonials

This project teaches how much time, effort, and care was put into the actual telescope. This telescope will make ground breaking discoveries that will change life.

I would say that the project was very good because it was hands on, and we were all responsible for our own parts. We were encouraged to work as a team.

Educator testimonial

The project came out better than I could have hoped for! The students had a great experience and the topic of JWST is really adaptable to all ability levels. The students were asked to do a couple of things for this project that included the informational reading and lecture, a task to make a visual about the JWST, and to create a 1/64th scale model of the JWST mirror and Hubble mirror with each mirror tile having a JWST fact on it. Some students were even trying to compete with the models that they were turning in. It was a great experience and way to let out some creativity after testing. Thank you for this opportunity.
